Dear Life...
Dear life, Come sit with me for a while. Let's fill this emptiness inside, By sailing in our dreams and swaying to the music of love. Life, what if I dance with the moon? And escape into a realm of ecstasy, Would you give me company? Or a breath of love? I spent my whole life looking for you, Not knowing you were always within me. You promised to stay, But you betrayed me. And now, here I'm all alone, Holding the pieces of broken promises. Dear life, Why are you so dear to me? A day will come, When you'll leave me behind. And fade forever into an oblivious darkness. With nothing but fluttering leaves Of bygone memories. Life, you're full of lies. Of beautiful, sweet lies, But alas, You're nothing but an illusory mirage. Dear life, Come sit with me for a while. And end this unbroken silence, Let's compose songs of love. In the midst of a noiseless crowd. Can you hear it? Can you see me serenading with your shadow? Dear life, You're an unfaithful friend Yet you're closer to me
